Extremely Poor Customer Service Regarding Fraudulent Credit Cards Transactions

 

 

Amazon Extremely Poor Customer Service

I recently called Amazon Customer Service regarding some fraudulent charges on my credit card, for some books that were ordered and shipped to Canada by Amazon. Clearly these were not my purchases. I live in Florida. Amazon should have flagged these charges, IF they had a fraud system as good as Capital One or Discover Card.

 

The experience of being transferred from department to department within Amazon, was the WORST customer service experience I have ever experienced. These videos are exactly what I experienced: Discover Card Peggy Commercials

 

When I asked the Amazon Customer Service Rep. to be transferred to the Amazon Fraud Department, they could not do that, nor did  they have that number. When I asked for the phone number for Amazon Headquarters, they did not have that number either. So I did a Google search and found the Amazon Headquarters phone number: 206-266-1000.

 

Companies like Amazon that put "Firewalls and Barriers" between customers and corporate headquarters, really show just how concerned that are about customer satisfaction -- They Aren't

 

Now I must spend more time on this matter, to attempt to resolve it. What Amazon should have simply done is place a credit on my newly issued credit card, or issue an Amazon Gift Card, which they could not do either of.

 

If you do a Google Search for Amazon Customer Complaints you might be shocked at how bad Amazon Customer Service is. Complaints against Amazon are in the THOUSANDS.

 

Maybe it is time that Jeff Bezos (Owner of Amazon), review how it handles customer service complaints and fraudulent transactions at Amazon.
